Summary:

Goldbelt C6, LLC is looking for a Lead Stock Clerk to help manage hazardous waste. The Lead Stock Clerk is responsible for overseeing daily stockroom operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, and coordinating the activities of stock clerks.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of stock clerk staff.
  • Train new staff on stockroom procedures and inventory systems.
  • Receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Compile stock records of items in the HazMart and CICs.
  • Sort or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisitions or invoice.
  • Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Store articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves IAW identifying information, such as type of material.
  • Fill orders or issue supplies from stock.
  • Conduct inventory of stock.
  • Receive and/or collect industrial and hazardous wastes.
  • Manage industrial and hazardous waste containers in SAAs and CAA, including moving containers of hazardous waste.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills & Knowledge:

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team with clear direction.
  • Capable of understanding hazardous materials handing requirements and practicing safe handling, storage, and disposal of these items.
  • Capable of understanding and practicing hazardous waste handling, storage, and turn in procedures IAW regulations and USCG procedures.
  • Ability to handle stress under pressure.
  • Ability to learn, understands, and follows oral and written instructions/directions.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other employees.
  • Ability to pull, lift and carry supplies and equipment.
  • Ability to bend, squat, reach and retrieve items from above and in small, confined areas if needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree.
