Yoh is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Research Associate, Compound Management
to support research and development efforts in compound management. You will be responsible for the end-to-end handling of chemical compounds, including receiving, registering, weighing, solubilizing, and preparing them for various downstream applications.

You will work closely with advanced lab automation systems, liquid handling platforms, and sample management software to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and traceability across all compound management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately receive, store, weigh, and solubilize compounds.
  • Using automated workflows and instruments such as the Labcyte Echo; prepare barcoded dose response and compound plates.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot workflows for automation platforms and instruments.
  • Maintain up-to-date compound inventory using sample management tools like Titian Mosaic and CDD Vault.
  • Follow rigorous SOPs and quality control procedures to ensure the integrity of compound management operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill compound requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Support the chemistry team by registering reagents and organizing compound inventory.
  • Prepare and manage domestic and international compound shipments in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to general lab support and maintenance activities as needed.



Required Qualifications:
  • BS/MS in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial laboratory setting, ideally within pharmaceutical or biotech R&D.
  • Experience in handling, weighing, and solubilizing chemical compounds with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with sample management platforms such as Titian Mosaic and CDD Vault.
  • Familiarity with high-throughput liquid handling systems and robotics (e.g., HighRes Biosolutions, Hamilton VANTAGE, Labcyte Echo, Agilent Bravo, Tecan).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize automated workflows for compound management.
  • Programming, scripting, and informatics experience (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.



Estimated Min Rate: $40.00
Estimated Max Rate: $56.00
