Business Operations Systems-Finance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

• Monitors the day-to-day financial operations within the company such as payments, invoicing, payroll, and other transactions.

• Oversees financial department employees.

• Ensures all reports and other financial contract deliverables are met.

• Prepares cost estimates for clients and cost proposals for contract option years.

• Provides accurate preparation and timely submission of Labor and Other Direct Cost (ODC) monthly Invoices.

• Supervises Post Support Unit (PSU) payment submission process.

• Assists the Program Manager with all financial issues related to the contract.

Issuances of check payments for any routine Accounts Payable for the Office Operations.

• Responsible for accurate maintenance and reconciliation of the bank register.

• Ensures Petty Cash is funded and accurately processed.

• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality.

• Ensures accuracy and completeness of all reports, assignments, and tasks before submission.

• Follows up and provide feedback with all tasks in a timely manner without being prompted.

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field and a minimum of five (5) years as a Finance Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Identify and assess financial and numerical data to determine underlying reasons, facts, and principles of information.

• Must have demonstrated computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills for dealing with mission personnel, clients and outside contacts.

• Must demonstrate strong management and leadership skills.

• Must exercise good organizational and time management skills and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
