Description

Sigma Defense is seeking a Scrum Master/Site Lead to manage an Agile team of DevSecOps personnel in maintaining DoD Azure environments. Must be able to manage a team to drive continuous improvement of the environment and meet customer demands. Serve as an interface between local government customer and team to ensure productivity and meet timelines.

The ideal candidate is willing to work with a hybrid workforce and has strong interpersonal and management skills required to plan, direct, and execute the tasks required for the team.

Requirements

Requirements and Experience:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing large-scale cloud initiatives in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure preferred, but AWS experience acceptable).
  • Experience facilitating Program Increment (PI) Planning.
  • Management experience working with hybrid teams.

Mandatory Certifications:

  • DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification.

Computer Programs/Software:

  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • Microsoft Tools

Candidate Differentiators:

  • Microsoft Azure Cloud Experience.
  • Knowledge of AF IC requirements.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Management, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field of study.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all inclusive):

  • Lead Agile transformation efforts, facilitate Agile processes, coach teams to deliver secure and high-quality products, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Apply extensive experience managing Agile teams in complex environments and a strong understanding of DevSecOps principles.
  • Mentor and guide teams on Agile best practices, with a focus on secure development practices (DevSecOps).
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination and foster strong collaboration across the program.
  • Continuously refine Agile processes to enhance the efficiency and quality of deliverables.
  • Responsible for projects and processes spanning multiple professional areas of expertise.
  • Responsible for coaching, reviewing and delegating work.
  • Work with subcontractors and vendors to improve project outcomes.
  • Serve as the on-site management for the team, interfacing with government customers.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000 annually.
