The EMEA Aircraft Sales Representative identifies potential customers and receives inquiries from customers wanting to buy, sell or upgrade aircraft. In addition, this position provides follow-up and excellent customer service; performs market research and acts as an acquisition agent recommending maintenance and/or modifications; researches and prepares aircraft specification sheets and market evaluation reports; and makes recommendation to company management on aircraft purchases for in-house inventory.

Essential Job Functions

1. Identifies potential customers and receives inquiries from customers wanting to buy, sell or upgrade aircraft using sales leads generated from advertisements, customer inquiry, referral, etc. Maintains follow-up contacts and fosters relationships with potential customers.

2. Compiles timely and accurately aircraft specification sheets for consigned or inventory aircraft for potential buyers. As acquisition agent, prepares aircraft market evaluation spreadsheet to reflect an accuratemarket evaluation of comparable aircraft for sale and sold. Recommends maintenance/modification services for aircraft prior to resale and or coordinates department quotes for services.

3. Performs market research by reviewing aircraft sold and aircraft available 'for sale' in the marketplace through personal contacts with other dealers and brokers plus internal information compiled by company research analyst.

4. Recommends, to Duncan Aviation management, potential aircraft purchases for in-house inventory and necessary modifications on inventory aircraft prior to resale.

5. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Specific Requirements



  • Licenses: Must have a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
  • Attendance: Regularly scheduled attendance required; multiple night and short notice travel
  • Physical: Repetitive motion; tolerates sitting
  • Environmental: N/A


Education and Experience



  • Associates degree in Business or Aviation related field or equivalent required
  • Two years aircraft sales experience preferred
  • Aircraft maintenance or modification experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Software (i.e. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
