What You'll Do
As a Manager, Accounting you will:
- Oversees the Accounts Payable (AP) function including automation and process improvements to the current AP process.
- Partners with Supply Chain when managing the AP Invoices on hold process and to determine vendors to be paid based on cash allocated by Treasury.
- Prepares bank and account reconciliations, including making process improvements to ensure all accounts are reconciled accurately and handles outstanding check issues.
- Approves journal entries for both AP and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Manages new system implementations projects such as Concur Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Sets up new vendors and direct purchase requisitions for non-Purchase Order (PO) costs.
- Manages monthly analysis reporting including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) trends and Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) trends.
- Develops reporting within Power Business Intelligence (BI) to provide analysis from Oracle data.
- Develops policies and procedures in the AR and AP functions.
- Assists with managing the Motus auto allowance mileage program.
- Recommends updates to the Travel and Expense (T&E) Policy and ensures compliance.
- Works with Treasury on bank automation projects such as automating Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions to post from Bank of America to Oracle.
- Researches solutions to automate the account reconciliation process.
- Coordinates the weekly AP check backup.
- Serves as a backup to the Oracle consolidation process.
- Works with the Controller or Director, Treasury and Credit on special projects.
- Responsible for behaving in a professional manner both internally and externally in relationships that positively impact the company's reputation and comply with the company's policies and practices. Responsible for being accountable and committed to demonstrating Breg's cultural beliefs and achieving the key results of the company.
- Responsible for promoting Breg's culture within the organization using established tools such as storytelling, providing focused feedback, and recognition. The performance of the position is aligned with the culture of commitment and accountability, following the steps of: See it, Own it, Solve it, and Do it.
- Leadership responsibilities includes the selection, development, performance management and continuous recalibration of staff; ensures appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation; performs administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration and other matters related to employment.
- Assesses staff and provides timely and consistent feedback regarding technical proficiency and effectiveness. Provides constructive feedback, guidance, and reinforcement to employees regarding job performance. Works with staff to identify work goals and create individual development plans. Evaluates training programs to ensure content meets staff needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive excellence in patient care and business solutions.
What You Bring
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting and certification is preferred.
- 10+ years of accounting experience is required.
- Experience in a high volume medical device manufacturing environment is preferred.
- 5+ years of project management and implementation experience is required.
- Previous experience managing both Accounts Receivable and Payable departments is preferred.
- Strong Oracle system knowledge is preferred.
- Strong computerized accounting skills and advanced excel spreadsheet skills and proficiency in the use of Oracle or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is required.

Compensation
Salary Range: $127,800,00 - $162,000.00. Actual compensation is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and business needs. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salary/pay across all US locations. Actual pay is based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographical location, work experience, skill set, relevant trainings and certifications, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for a bonus.
