Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets, is seeking a Fork Truck Operator/Logistics Associate at Ecolab- City of Industry, CA. This position is responsible for accurate material handling and forklift operations, completion of paperwork and coding, updates to the computer inventory system, quality checks, and transport of pallets, individual containers, and finished goods to the appropriate storage areas. Each Associate is responsible for staying current onstandard work procedures and for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with plant customer service, quality, and expense management targets.

What You Will Do:

  • Transport pallets or individual containers of raw material to storage area using forklift, pallet dolly, or other equipment, as required.
  • Load delivery trucks based on pick lists and shipping order. Follow regulations for the loading and transport of chemical products.
  • Perform salvage/recoup activities per standard operating procedures if needed.
  • Work as a team with Share job responsibilities with other FTOs, Logistics Associates, and Material Handlers, as needed with other drivers by sharing their workload as needed.
  • Help clear pallets from the wrappers at the front dock.
  • Accurately and promptly complete documentation, either on paper, via scanner, or by entering data into computer.
  • Track distribution and quality data as requested.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Drive for the production lines when needed.
  • Record and track safety, quality and productivity in accordance with plant and departmentalgoals.
  • Work to move COI from TPM Bronze to TPM Silver through performance and participation in TPM.
  • Care for fork truck and/or batteries as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Position Details:

  • Plant location:City of Industry, CA
  • Work week and shift:3rd shift: Sunday - Friday, 10:00pm - 6:30am
  • Compensation package offered:$26.50 / hour + $1.00 / hour shift differential for 3rd shift

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience using SAP
  • TPM experience
  • 2 years of experience in manufacturing or warehouse
  • Previous or current forklift certification
  • Ability to read and follow instructions inEnglish language
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role

Physical Demands:

  • This position requires regularly lifting and carrying 50lbs.

  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

$26.50 / hour. This position pays an hourly rate and is eligible for overtime. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
