Mission:

The focus of the Business Growth Manager Automation position is to drive existing and new business for Epiroc's suite of products, as they are aligned within the larger picture of Epiroc USA and its strategic goals. Knowledge and skill in how to successfully influence others, by understanding how their individual and organizational needs link to goals, is essential. Initiative, a competitive drive for marketing and growth, and the ability to understand and quickly react to changing organizational environments are critical keys to success. The position will help ensure that the company achieves business goals of growth, increasing market share, profitability and establishing our vision of customer obsession.

Automation growth is a company-wide objective. This role will be responsible for driving the Marketing Strategy for all automation solutions, whether wholly developed or acquired. This role requires focus on implementing Automation product portfolios into the local market supported by a team of Product & Application specialists in collaboration with USA sales and service organization. You will work closely with the acquisition and integration teams to find opportunities to develop the US market further into the Automation journey.

The Role:



  • Positively contribute to achieve growth in market share, profitability, and revenue for the various Automation Product Lines, including those coming from current and future acquisitions
  • Together with Business Lines and the Sales Organization, create strategies and roadmaps for Automation to deliver internal and external value. As part of this, you will have ownership of the Marketing Strategy for Automation in Epiroc USA.
  • Manage a team of Product and Application Specialists who can support as product and project experts for the sales representatives and service and support teams.
  • Be responsible for the success of Automation Projects in the US from quoting and sales, all the way through to support and sustainment
  • Work closely with the Business Growth Manager for Data and Digital and group products that hit the largest value and problem statements from our customers.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding and vision of market trends and piecing together the most valuable Epiroc offering for our customers.
  • Work with the Epiroc communication and marketing organization to develop strategic marketing campaigns.
  • Ownership and accountability for setting and delivering to the annual plan, as well as forecasting for products that fit into the Automation portfolio.
