Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking aProject Managerto add to our Environmental team in Connecticut.
The Project Manager is responsible for providing the overall technical and financial direction on projects, ensuring that the client receives the designs, reports, and opinions described in their contract. They may be responsible for several concurrent projects and may actively participate in marketing the firm's services.

What You'll Do:
  • Participate in business development by executing planned marketing strategies to bring work into the firm
  • Assemble project teams and prepare accurate fee estimates for proposals
  • Collaborate with clients to determine major project design decisions
  • Review and verify the accuracy of completed work; act as primary client liaison
  • Manage full project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring client approvals before proceeding
  • Oversee construction efforts as needed
  • Provide administrative supervision, including conducting performance reviews and recommending staff for advancement
  • Champion safety by maintaining a high commitment and fostering these values in your team
  • Monitor project performance and budget forecasts to ensure successful completion
  • Encourage project staff to understand the business side of projects and lead the team with enthusiasm.
Who You Are:
  • Strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledgeable about physical environments, including landforms and topography, and their interaction with built infrastructure
  • Clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Technically competent with strong teamwork skills
  • Dedicated to delivering excellent customer service

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • 8-10 years of experience managing technical development of projects in your area of expertise
  • Proven leadership on projects involving Phase I, II, and III site investigations, and remediation planning and execution
  • Experience with CT RSR, MA MCP, CERCLA, RCRA, and/or TSCA regulations
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
  • Comfortable operating standard office equipment and keyboards
  • Able to push, pull, and place materials on level surfaces and overhead cabinets
  • Willingness to work in diverse weather conditions and terrains
  • Commitment to following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment appropriately
