Position Responsibilities

Deltek is seeking a visionary and dynamic Senior Director/GenAI Program Leader to drive the strategic application and governance of GenAI technologies across our organization. This role will be pivotal in shaping and executing our GenAI internal use strategy, advancing transformative use cases, implementing GenAI technologies and solutions, and fostering a culture of innovation and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, a strong background in generative AI, and the ability to leverage these skills to champion the responsible and effective use of GenAI throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Champion our GenAI Internal Use Strategy:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive GenAI internal use strategy based on industry best practices and understanding of technology trends to foster continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to identify and prioritize high-impact GenAI use cases that enhance employee productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze emerging industry and technology trends, opportunities, and risks in the GenAI landscape.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leverage new technologies and mitigate potential risks.
  • Drive Internal GenAI Solution Development and Implementation:
  • Develop and execute the vision and roadmap for GenAI solutions within the organization.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of GenAI technologies to address specific use cases within functional areas such as sales, support, etc., as well as general employee productivity tools like Copilot agents.
Promote Employee Enablement, Adoption and Literacy Efforts:
  • Advocate for the effective and responsible use of GenAI technologies within the organization.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee literacy and enablement in GenAI processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by integrating GenAI solutions into our core business processes and driving adoption of GenAI solutions across all departments.
Mature GenAI Processes and Governance:
  • Establish and refine processes for approvals and business benefits measurement.
  • Implement governance frameworks for funding and cost tracking of GenAI initiatives.

Qualifications


  • GenAI Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with GenAI technologies and their applications, with a proven track record taking products and solutions from concept to implementation and beyond, ideally in the GenAI space.
  • Driving Change and Adoption: Proven experience in driving change and fostering the adoption of new technologies within an organization.
  • Results Driven: Demonstrated ability to achieve results and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Personal Learner: Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Executive Presence: Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
  • Risk Taking: Willingness to take calculated risks and challenge existing processes to drive innovation.

Compensation Information

The U.S. salary range for this position is $141500.00 - $247500.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
