Overview of the Role

Salesforce is seeking a MuleSoft engineer to build and test our best-of-class integration platform. These solutions are critical to the success of the Public Sector Line of Business. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with MuleSoft and other Salesforce-on-Salesforce technologies which include but are not limited to force.com, APEX / Javascript / SOQL, Data Cloud, Government Cloud, SFDX, Tableau and Slack etc.

To be successful at this position you must be a proactive individual, take accountability, speak up, work at a quick pace, and manage multiple tasks effecitvely while keeping a good sense of humor. You must possess strong communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with other team members. Contribute ideas and provide feedback on how to continually improve the way we innovate solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in discovery and design sessions

  • Document and present test strategy and implementation designs to peers, stakeholders and review board

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to align on the development environment and launch dependencies

  • Implement approved designs to meet integration requirements

  • Write, execute and maintain automated unit tests and regression tests

  • Provide investigative support on new & existing integrations

  • Demonstrable experience working with MuleSoft logs, Splunk logs and other integration related debugging techniques

  • Good understanding of Salesforce CRM concepts and integration techniques such as events, connected apps, certificates, etc.

  • Work with project managers to provide timely status and feedback to stakeholders

  • Align to Agile Methodology

  • Partner closely with BT Business & Enterprise Architects, Product Managers, Program Staff, QA and other Digital Enterprise Technology teams to execute integrations and automations

  • Keep up with targeted security, technical and business training

Required Skills
  • 7+ years of Java and web API development & implementation

  • 6+ years experience developing on the MuleSoft ESB or Anypoint platform delivering applications and APIs

  • 4+ years experience writing & running automated tests with JUnit and Postman

  • 4+ years experience working with XSL/T, XPath expressions & functions

  • 4+ years previous Salesforce application development or support with a minimum 300-seat environment handling all aspects of CRM, case management and platform maintenance

  • Solid Programming skills using J2EE, Design Patterns, JMS, SOAP / REST Web Services, XSLT, CXF, JSON, Spring Framework, etc.

  • Experience with MuleSoft administration, configuration and tuning

  • Experience consuming open and/or private APIs, such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce.com, and Workday

  • Demonstrated experience implementing MuleSoft ESB architecture, rules, caching, etc.

  • Experienced troubleshooting MuleSoft ESB debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus

  • Solid working knowledge of the Salesforce platform

  • Experience with Salesforce developer toolkit including Force.com IDE, Migration Tool and data migration tools like data loader, workbench, etc.,

  • Basic proficiency of Salesforce's Web Services, APIs, SOQL, SOSL and security model

  • Basic knowledge with Lightning Experience, Analytics, App Builder, Flows, Process Builders and components

  • Good project management skills with ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with all level of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients

  • Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • A related technical degree required.

  • MuleSoft Developer Certification

  • Salesforce Basic Administrator Certifications

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certifications (a plus)

Must be a U.S. Citizen operating on U.S. Soil with ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role, including a Criminal Justice Information Services screening with fingerprint scan.
