The Quality Data Analytics Engineer ensures the organization's products and services meet company quality standards while adhering to customer and regulatory requirements for quality, safety, and reliability. The primary focus is on ensuring customer satisfaction by monitoring and improving product quality, addressing internal quality problems, and enhancing production efficiency to reduce costs related to rework. This role emphasizes advanced data analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvement to support organizational goals. * Analyze and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly data to measure enterprise product performance and share insights with leadership and service center teams. * Design and present data visualizations (charts, dashboards) to communicate key quality metrics and trends using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar. * Conduct periodic audits of in-process quality checklists, forms, and documentation, ensuring compliance with prescribed standards. * Perform quality audits and report findings to the Director of CIQ, assisting in the development of corrective actions and timely resolution of issues. * Assist in the creation and maintenance of in-process quality standards that meet or exceed customer expectations. * Track warranty issues to ensure accurate collection and analysis of root cause data and implement corrective measures. * Support Lean and Six Sigma initiatives by leveraging data analytics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities. * Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team to align data-driven insights with strategic initiatives. * Monitor customer feedback and warranty claims, creating actionable recommendations to reduce recurring quality issues. * Collaborate with supply chain teams to monitor and improve supplier quality performance, conducting audits to ensure adherence to quality standards. * Direct quality-related activities with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, to ensure cohesive quality strategies. * Lead or participate in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) analyses to resolve quality issues and enhance product reliability. * Maintain and update policies, procedures, and standard work instructions as required. * 3 to 5 years of manufacturing experience. * Proven experience in a quality engineering, technician, or process/product quality-related role. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train and mentor staff. * Familiarity with quality control standards, methodologies, and tools such as SPC and FMEA. * Strong analytical skills with experience managing and manipulating large datasets. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. * Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments. * Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach. * Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and other quality tools. * Certifications: ASQ certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB). * Analytical Tools: Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). * Database Management: Experience with database systems for querying and manipulating datasets. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work across departments to ensure cohesive quality strategies and lead cross-functional teams. * Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time. * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. * Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and conducting hands-on inspections and audits. |
