The Career Services Coordinator is a unique position for career-minded and goal-oriented individuals to experience an entrepreneurial, values-driven culture; a rapidly growing business driven by societal and educational trends; and most importantly, the opportunity to positively impact the lives of aspiring students and their communities. The Career Services Coordinator is a pivotal member of the Career Services department and works seamlessly across campuses and departments to accomplish specific University standards.

This position is responsible for supporting the Career Services department as the front-line support representative for graduate outreach for the University.

Responsibilities:



  • Manage the employer job board including employer, job and event approvals, student/alumni approvals and communications. - 5%.
  • Responsible for the vendor support in the collection of updated alumni information. Vendors include, but are not limited to GradStat, MMI, EPSS, NSLDS, and Rasmussen University's Alumni update process. - 20%.
  • Support channel in outreach to graduates in an effort to provide career resources. This includes strategically developing communication strategies to increase alumni response rate up to 12 months post-graduation. - 60%.
  • Ensures appropriate and relevant employment, continuing education or not available to work status documentation to support updated employment data is appropriately uploaded to the graduate's Salesforce record. Additionally, this individual is responsible for ensuring the active employment record is reflective of the uploaded support material ensuring the utmost accuracy and compliance standards are followed and reporting is accurate. - 5%.
  • Support the channel in developing career readiness resources and virtual events. - 5%
  • Complete a minimum of two professional development trainings annually and present findings to the career resources team. - 5%


Reporting Relationships:

The Career Resources Coordinator reports directly to the Manager of Career Services, who reports to the Director of Career Services. This position does not have any direct reports.

Requirements:



  • 1-3 years of experience working in a career services, recruiting or outside sales setting.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening hours and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Experience working with clients/customers/students representing multiple stages of life and diverse backgrounds/experiences.
