Description and Requirements

Motorola Mobility, A Lenovo Company, is one of the world's fastest growing smartphone providers, creating groundbreaking, high-quality products and software designed and built with the global customer in mind. And it's our people who make this all happen. We are thinkers, risk-takers, and problem solvers, working together to constantly challenge the status quo. If you share our commitment to ingenuity, creativity, and innovation, we want you to help us define our world of tomorrow.

We are looking for a Product Manager who has a passion for technology and is excited about making a big impact. As a seasoned product owner and strategic thinker, you will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Motorola's smartphone software experience - from concept through launch and beyond. Your mission is to define, build, and evangelize breakthrough product experiences that resonate deeply with consumers and redefine category expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the complete software experience journey - from initial planning through development, launch, upgrade, and beyond. You'll be the voice of our global users, translating their needs into bold software solutions.
  • Drive Innovation Through Insight and analyze global consumer needs, pain points, and behavior trends to craft compelling product propositions.
  • Translate insights, past learnings, and market intelligence into a strong product strategy, ensuring alignment with Motorola's global objectives.
  • Collaborate with a global software team to define, refine, and deliver feature sets that elevate user satisfaction.
  • Constantly evaluate and enhance the user experience - making sure the product is not just delivered but also continuously improved upon.
  • Champion full-chain design by incorporating the philosophy of "design for users, marketing, and retail" into every product decision. You'll be the advocate for experiences that are not just functional but unforgettable across every touchpoint.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software product management
  • 3+ years of experience in AI SW product management experience, with strong product understanding, data organization and analysis skills, product management skills, and project promotion abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Smartphone industry experience
  • Masters or MBA
  • Aptitude to run large scale, complex projects, or product lines
  • Strong product management experience and the ability to drive innovation, anticipate product weaknesses, delays, or risks, and creatively problem solve with the team
  • Ability to guide / influence a large group and provide direction on all aspects of product features, schedules, and deliverables
  • Strong learning capability, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, strong communication skills and willing to accept challenges.
  • Proficient in writing PRD documents for product definition and familiarity with product prototype interaction design.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $135k - 165K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
