County Waste (WasteConnections) is currently looking for outgoing and experienced Territory Sales Representatives!

At Waste Connections, we believe in rewarding hard work and ambition, which is why this position has a base of $55,000 with UNCAPPED commission!

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Construction / Disposal Sales Representative at Waste Connections will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the construction industry by selling temporary waste removal services. This role involves establishing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients, managing a portfolio of customers, and driving revenue growth to meet or exceed monthly targets. The Construction Account Manager will actively engage with both potential and existing customers within their assigned region to present Waste Connections' services, follow up with key decision-makers, and close sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cultivate and sustainstrong relationshipswith current clients, ensuring high retention and loyalty.
  • focus on selling Roll off business
  • Managing existing customer with the ability to grow account
  • Identify and engage with leads, manage sales prospects, and secure temporary business contracts to achieve both individual and team sales targets.
  • Deliver persuasivesales presentationsto grow the customer base, and follow up regularly with decision-makers to close deals.
  • UseSalesforceon a daily basis to track and document allsales activities, including calls, meetings, and proposals.
  • Generate qualified sales leads for permanent waste removal services and forward them to the appropriate sales representative.
  • Collaboratewith the Sales Manager on a weekly basis to evaluate progress, discusscustomer retentionefforts, and assess key relationships within the client base.
  • Work closely with the operations team to resolvecustomer serviceissues and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Enhance the company's visibility by participating in industry trade shows, networking events, local business activities, and company-sponsored events.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support the company's goals.

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • 2+ years ofSALESexperience

  • SolidWasteIndustry Experience a plus (not required)

  • Experience withCRMsystems,Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
