Security Field Supervisor - Central Illinois

The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services and background checks.

The purpose of this position is to serve in a supervisory capacity for our accounts located in Central Illinois. Primarily in Bloomington, Peoria, and Springfield.

The position will be based out of Bloomington/Normal, at Illinois Wesleyan University.

*Candidates for this position must:

• Have a valid drivers license with a driving record that meets company insurability requirements.
• Possess a reliable vehicle suitable to perform their duties. Any work related mileage outside the Bloomington/Normal metro will be reimbursed by the company.
• Have open availability. May be needed to cover sites on all shifts, as well as any day of the week.
• Have a minimum of 6 months supervisory experience. Previous security and/or law enforcement experience is highly desired.
• Must have a good work history, including positions involving trust, responsibility and reliability.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, as well as an understanding of MS Word and Outlook.

*Primary responsibilities will include:

• Perform security officer duties as needed, for open shifts, and support security staff at Illinois Wesleyan University.
• Support and fill vacancies at any site which fall under their area of responsibility.
• Complete and process all paperwork required for this position. This includes, but not limited to, filing of daily activity reports, trip/mileage reports, work comp reports, accident reports, and vehicle reports.
• Conduct inspections of officers at accounts within your area of responsibility.
• Assist with new-hire orientations as needed
• As this position develops, the employee may be assigned additional duties or special projects as deemed necessary by management.
