Central Sterile Supply Technician

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is excited to announce a potential opportunity for a Central Sterile Supply Technician to join our team supporting Naval Health Clinic Lemoore (NHCL) in Lemoore, CA.

Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship
• Certificate from a Central Sterile Supply training program
• Minimum of 1 year of experience within the last 2 years in a sterile supply setting
• Current certification by:
• International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM), or
• National Institute for the Certification of Healthcare Sterile Processing and Distribution Personnel (CBSPD)
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform sterilization duties, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Push/pull wheeled carts averaging 160 lbs.
• Complete approximately 30 hours of online training via STERIS University
• Follow all dress code and infection control requirements including wearing government-issued scrubs, shoe covers, and PPE
• Maintain proper hygiene and appearance, including no artificial nails or hand jewelry
• Complete required orientation and annual training (up to 40 hours Command Orientation, 24 hours Information Systems)

Work Schedule & Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• Shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• 8.5 to 9-hour shifts including a 30 to 60-minute uncompensated lunch
• No more than 80 hours per two-week period
