Lubbock Assistant Sports Dietitian - Football 41144BR Sports Nutrition Position Description The Assistant Sports Dietitian is responsible for delivering evidence-based nutrition services for assigned teams and individual student-athletes. Working collaboratively with sports medicine staff, strength coaches, coaches and other support staff, the Assistant Sports Dietitian supports health, wellness, and performance through education, medical nutrition therapy, food service and performance nutrition strategies. Major/Essential Functions This position will report directly to the Director of Football Nutrition.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN), or RD-eligible within six months of hire. Zero to one year of experience in sports nutrition or related field, or a combination of related education and/or experience may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis. Will be expected to obtain a Texas dietitian license (LD). Preferred Qualifications
