About the Position The Maricopa County Facilities Management Department is seeking a motivated, innovative, and solutions-driven Management Analyst to join our team! The purpose of this position is to provide targeted project support, including project establishment, coordination, budget analysis, and management. You will be regularly reporting to the department's leadership and stakeholders for complex and technically challenging construction projects. Think you're up for the challenge? Our comprehensive services include continuous operations and maintenance of County-owned facilities, project management for all building construction projects, and in-house design services. We Require
Two years of professional analytical experience, including administering contracts and maintaining budgets for construction projects Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a closely related field A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
We Also Value
Construction Management degree and/or previous construction administration experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with Oracle Unifier (or similar project management Information software), Microsoft Power Suite and Advanced Excel skills Experience creating dashboards and reports in Power BI or similar tools Experience in records management with retention policies and document handling best practices
Job Contributions
Collaborate with senior leadership and staff to identify process gaps and implement improvements Generate and provide regular project update reports for FMD leadership and user department stakeholders Create reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and Oracle Unifier to provide actionable insights Automate data and document management processes to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy Provide training and support to staff on new systems, processes, and tools Manage, update, and maintain FMD's project management system(s) Perform extensive professional-level research, analysis, planning, development, and implementation of departmental operational, administrative, and special projects Ensure proper records retention and management in compliance with county regulations Analyzing, developing, and refining business processes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with county policies and regulations Act as a liaison between the department and technology teams to support system integration and troubleshoot issues
