In this role, you will support for the following work scopes in Canada and the US with the Enbridge Core Programs organization: Liquid Pipelines (LP) Mainline integrity digs, Gas Transmission (GTM) integrity digs, Exposures/Spans/Depth of Cover Mitigation, Casing Repairs, and Site Reclamation. You will provide technical support related to welding, Non-destructive Examination (NDE), coating and interacting with subject matter leads.

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure maintenance programs are designed in accordance with all regulations, applicable industry codes and corporate standards.

  • Ensure the project management, planning, and construction activities meet internal and external stakeholder needs and requirements.

  • Manage the execution of the work types against the project budget and schedule.

  • Review design drawings, technical reports, and purchased material specifications.

  • Provide technical support to the Construction team during project execution phases.

  • Provide support for NDE assessment and repair decisions by collaborating with Pipeline Integrity and the NDE field technicians to select the most appropriate repair method.

  • Create and update requisitions (work release contracts / work orders) to ensure proper funding commitments are available for Project Controls cost forecasting purposes.

  • Collaborate with Construction, CCO Outage Coordination, and other stakeholders to schedule line time or outages to minimize throughput restrictions.

  • Promote the safety and health of workers for assigned projects.

  • Actively participate in the Enbridge Safety Leadership in Action program by performing safety observations, site safety inspections, process hazard assessments (PHA), attending tailgate and pre-job meetings, and much more.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering

  • 4 years of progressively responsible experience in the pipeline industry, including a strong working knowledge of pipeline engineering principles, industry standards, governmental regulations, and project management.

  • Must have exposure to Engineering, Construction and Field operations

  • General understanding of pipeline and terminal operations

  • Predict obstacles, challenges, and risks to proactively determine mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to problems

  • Proven capability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines while managing stakeholder expectations.

  • The ability to regularly shift between planned and unplanned activities, while remaining effective despite the resulting disruptive effects.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills

  • Collaborative, team- and service-oriented work style

  • Motivated self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced team environment

  • Software experience with MS Office Suite and Oracle

Preferred:
* Experience in multiple Engineering fields
* PMP Certification

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily office based with scheduled travel to support field activities.

Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

For US Only:
Salary: Ranges typically between $76,700 - $120,000 based upon experience and other market conditions.
