Maintenance Technician III

8:00am - 5:00pm

Additional hours as needed to fulfill the needs of the department.

Function: Performs assignments related to the maintenance of buildings and equipment throughout the bank with some renovation responsibilities. Performs repairs to some plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, phone systems, woodworking, and various installations. Meet on site with Senior Maintenance Technicians as necessary to assist in projects or repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs assignments related to maintenance of bank buildings and equipment such as:

  • Installing telephones and switching phone lines to and from offices as needed and installing Fax machines.

  • Painting bank interiors and exteriors.

  • Performing lock work including cutting keys and replacing locks in teller area.

  • Servicing different types of equipment including time clocks, sweepers, weed eaters, blowers, etc.

  • Moving desks, filing cabinets, fireproof cabinets & safe deposit boxes.

  • Installing ceramic tile.

  • Welding sign posts for drive-ups, chairs, fire escapes, etc.

  • Making recommendations regarding improving operating systems.

  • Responsible to pick up new assignments, close out those completed in Facilities Software, input required data.

  • Building grounds work to include removal of papers, cans, branches, blacktop patchwork, pouring concrete, etc.

• Performs various duties related to building construction and maintenance such as:

  • Performs rough and finish carpentry.

  • Performs electrical work such as installing electrical service entrances and building wiring as well as lighting fixtures.

  • Installing and maintenance of all types of heating and air conditioning systems.

  • Performing various plumbing services as needed.

  • Conduct monthly Building inspections as assigned and submit required check list.

• Performs additional duties as required.

Education:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training, trade school or a two-year degree.

Experience:

One to two years specialized experience, specifically, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Construction. Valid PA Driver's License required.

Physical Demands:

Operates a keypad device: 5% of the day; Operates office equipment: 5% of the day; travels: 15% of the day. Operates tools and construction equipment: 45% of the day. The job requires bending and twisting which is moderate in speed. Standing and sitting are required. Walking is required which is moderate in speed. Routinely lifts 25 lbs. and maximum lift is 70 lbs. must be able to lift, move and/or carry up to 70 lbs with the ability to work from a ladder. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"-20". Requires a valid driver's license. Work is routinely performed inside and outside in all seasons.
