Our Lab:
Men's Heath, Aging, and Metabolism Research is seeking a RAII to assist and support the research team in the overall conduct of several ongoing clinical trials. Populations served include young adult, adult, senior adult and geriatric. Additionally, our research includes work with diverse populations including healthy, psychically fit adults to individuals with various chronic conditions including diabetes mellitus type 2, postmenopausal women with stress urinary incontinence, and prostate cancer survivors. Our research focuses on exercise science, metabolism, hormones and aging. Summary: Enrolls eligible patients to clinical research protocols and manages data collection and regulatory submissions for multiple research studies. Serves as the liaison between the clinical team, sponsor, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) to ensure appropriate communication and reporting. The position involves a high volume of data abstraction and data entry. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions: -Verifies adequate documentation of consent -Conducts required screening tests and procedures, and reviews eligibility criteria to ensure participants meet all criteria -Enrolls participants as required by the study sponsor and internal primary investigator -Follows participants for the duration of study participation to ensure protocol compliance -Monitors and reports adverse events and deviations as required by the sponsor, institution, and federal regulations -Maintains research charts and/or electronic files for all enrolled participants -Communicates protocol clarifications from the study sponsor -Schedules and prepares for monitoring visits and audits -Collects, completes, and submits essential regulatory documents and protocol information to various regulatory entities (IRB) Education Physical Requirements
