The Role:
As a User Experience (UX) Design Intern, you will collaborate with CPI's Design, Product, and Development teams to create user-centered designs. This role will focus on contributing to projects that make a real impact on users by creating intuitive and delightful digital experiences. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in user experience design, work with a talented team, and grow your skills in a supportive and innovative environment.

What You Get To Do Everyday:
  • Conduct user research to understand target audiences, their needs, and pain points. Analyze data and feedback to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and solutions visually.
  • Develop and style basic web pages using HTML and CSS.
  • Assist in planning and conducting usability testing sessions. Gather insights and iterate on designs based on test results.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Developers, and other Designers, to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of our design system to ensure consistency across products.
  • Prepare design specifications and guidelines for developers to use for implementation.
  • Collect and incorporate feedback from team members to refine and improve designs.
  • Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
You Need to Have:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Currentlypursuing a bachelor's degreein graphic design, interaction design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Basic data analysis skills
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and processes
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency with design software (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
  • Eager to learn, motivated, and able to take constructive feedback
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Attention to detail to ensure content accuracy and consistency
  • Ability to learn new tools and platforms quickly and apply knowledge effectively
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating with a team
  • Ability to manage deadlines and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Accountability for work produced
  • Positive attitude, high-energy

What We Offer:
  • $18.00 - $20.00/hour
  • June - August schedule
