Introduction to the job

In order to stay competitive and continue to be able to deliver to our customers, ASML Supply Chain Management continuously needs to further professionalize its operation. One of the large challenges for the coming years is the standardization of the processes which we run in our (over 50) Warehouses worldwide. To facilitate the standardization we are implementing an interface with our logistic service providers to connect our ERP system (SAP) with the warehouse management system (WMS) from the logistic service providers. This set up requires this role in our organization to ensure the inventory levels between ASML and the logistic service providers are in sync.

You will join the control tower team of our diverse warehousing department on this mission, you have the drive, cross departmental communication skills and persistence to help us to make this a success.

Role and Responsibilities

As an inventory controller your main responsibility is to keep the stock levels in our ERP system in sync with the stock levels in the WMS. This requires extensive knowledge of the logistics processes and the IT systems. You will work together with ASML IT teams, the worldwide teams in the local organizations and the logistic service providers to ensure the inventory management processes are executed as designed.

  • Ensure daily stock reports are produced and any discrepancies addressed and resolved.
  • Work closely with the IT support organization, with the local planning teams and with the 3PL
  • Manage and solve disturbances caused in the logistics processes between and within the warehouses
  • Monitor the interface performance and resolve errors in the interface messages / documents
  • Analyze the errors and issues and solve the root causes that prevent re-occurrence
  • Manage and control inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks across ASML and logistics service providers

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor or Master in Supply Chain Management, IT, Finance or comparable
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
  • Knowledge of logistics (technical) processes, especially the IT flow
  • SAP and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Relevant IT skills in MS Office applications, ERP systems, WMS applications and interface connections

  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Can we be more specific: Must be willing to lift up to 20 pounds, pull 20 pounds at least once a day and spend the majority of time (greater than 90% less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, walking three to five miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for nine hours.

  • Operating/working around overhead cranes, fork trucks and motorized pallet movers.
  • Working around lasers; working with ladders; working on platforms; and working around chemicals.
  • The employee is occasionally required to move around the campus.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • May require travel dependent on company needs.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$102,000-170,000

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan.
