SUMMARY

The Services Lead is responsible for leading a team of associates in all areas of refurbishment and services. The Services Lead shall ensure all work performed is in compliance with all standard operating procedures, quality standards and safety policies. The Services Lead 1 shall prepare reports, train service center associates in refurbishment, conditioning and services processes, company guidelines and assist with performance evaluations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Leads and performs all tasks related to services and refurbishment or conditioning of medical grade shipping containers.
  • Plans and coordinates the work of all services associates, adjusting work assignments and schedules to maintain adequate staffing levels and respond to fluctuating workloads.
  • Provides initial orientation to new services associates, including required job-specific training, as well as appropriate in-process instructions, guidance and feedback.
  • Completes annual training for facility staff in the area of services, as well as other training topics as assigned.
  • Reviews job orders and priorities to ensure due dates are met.
  • Utilizes manual or electronic inventory systems to locate and record orders and inventory information.
  • Interacts with various cross-functional groups as required.
  • Performs preventative and corrective maintenance as required for all services equipment.
  • Ensures that all services paperwork is completed in compliance with good documentation practices (GDP).
  • Ensures that all services associates understand and adhere to company ISO, Quality and Safety (AWAIRS) policies and procedures.
  • Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites.
  • Performs general warehouse work that involves incoming material/products, using material moving/handling equipment to store materials in designated areas, and/or retrieving materials/products from warehouse locations to supply services operations or support customer shipment of company products
  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in Handbook and follow guidelines regarding safety as outline in the AWAIR, and other safety procedures in accordance to the job.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.



JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • High school diploma or equivalent required, preferably an associate's degree in a technical / business field.
  • Must have knowledge of warehouse layout and the safe operation of material moving and handling equipment including 2-wheeler, lift truck, pallet jack, or motorized forklift.
  • Must be willing to train and become certified in the safe operation of material handling equipment.
  • Must be able to read, analyze and interpret documents relating to the job, function or assignment.
  • Must be able to make decisions when identifying in-process problems.
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
  • Must have the ability to complete assignments within the time frame specified by the Manager.
  • Must be able to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice.
  • Prior experience/understanding of pharma company requirements and expectations is preferred but not mandatory.



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to execute production and warehouse activities (i.e. stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, knee, crouch, etc.).
  • Ability to work in chilled temperatures ranging from 4C to -30C for up to a few hours at a time if necessary.
  • Ability to lift and or move up to 50 pounds, as well as stand for extended periods of time.

Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills,and experience.
