The University of Virginia seeks a dynamic and student-centered Recruitment Counselor to support outreach and engagement with our All Virginia (AVA) partner schools. This role is dedicated to building relationships with students and counselors, supporting the college application process, and enhancing the UVA visit experience for prospective students.
The Enrollment division at UVA includes the Office of Undergraduate Admission, the Office of the University Registrar, Student Financial Services, and Commonwealth Partnerships. All Virginia is a program initiative of Commonwealth Partnerships. The AVA Recruitment Counselor will join engaged, innovative colleagues working collaboratively to compete for talented students from all walks of life and to care for students from their first interaction with the University through Final Exercises and beyond. About the Position This hybrid position is located in Charlottesville, Virginia and requires in-office presence. This is a full-time, non-exempt level, benefited position with UVa benefits operating during regular business hours. Employee benefits package highlights include:
The anticipated salary range is $50,000 - $55,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a restricted position with a one year term. This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
