Rapiscan Systems, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Business Development Intern based out of Arlington, VA.

We are seeking a Business Development Intern to assist in achieving our Business Development Goals for FY25/26. The Business Development Intern should be a highly motivated current or recent college grad that would like to learn and contribute to a Business Development team through exploring new US Government Business Opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • Primary focus is to support the Sr. Dir Business Development in exploring new opportunities with the Cargo and Solutions Division
  • Primary duties will include conducting market research for US Federal Government Opportunities, including General Services Administration, Department of Defense, Dept of State, Department of Homeland Security, NATO, HS Federal Protective Service, US Secret Service
  • Support for Federal Government Opportunities in Rapiscan Government Services/ Cargo/S2 that include reviewing and providing summaries of known current and future opportunities
  • Provide updates on Data Base Searches and capture opportunities that meet know criteria in Data Bases
  • Participate in Business Development meetings as required
  • Assist in administrative tasks necessary to support contractual documents (price schedules)
  • Provide weekly reports to outline and document tasks performed and development goals achieved.

Qualifications

  • Some College level education.
  • High School Graduation
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PPT)
  • Motivated and Ready to learn about Security Business
  • Innovative, creative self-starter; ability to envision what is possible
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with senior leaders
