What You Will Do:

As a Compliance Supervisor, you will play an essential role within our Engineering department, reporting to Sr. Engineering Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Administer the Distribution Integrity Management Plan (DIMP).
  • Administer the Integrity Management Program (IMP).
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for operating a reliable pipeline system.
  • Prepare and file regulatory compliance reports and filings.
  • Coordinate with Federal, State, and local agencies for emergency response and emergency planning.
  • Ensure Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are following governing pipeline codes.
  • Develop and administer the API 1173 Pipeline Safety Management System.
  • Oversee compliance of regular code compliance items, including valve maintenance, relief and overpressure protection calculations, emergency shut down procedures, atmospheric corrosion inspections, etc.
  • Support Engineers and other departments with compliance work.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.


What You Will Bring:

Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum of four years' progressively responsible work experience, including leadership experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use/learn other technologies.
  • Must possess a valid Alaska Driver's License and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the ENSTAR's Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass a background, past employment, credit, drug, and driving record screening.


Preferred skills and qualifications:



  • Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills with the ability to evaluate data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively work with contractors, consultants, governmental agencies, and other departments/personnel to accomplish ENSTAR's objectives.
  • Ability to manage and support multiple projects.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to make independent decisions based on available information.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and is open to take on a variety of operational challenges.
