Position Summary: The Marketing Director is responsible for generating a marketing strategy as well as managing all marketing partners and overseeing all marketing efforts across the organization in support of volunteerism, fundraising, business development and general awareness. This person will design and coordinate the development of collateral campaigns, email marketing, social media content and website updates.

Essential duties and responsibilities (3-5 core functions representing 80% of time spent):



  • Develop and implement an annual marketing and communications plan that supports NewView's strategic goals, as well as developing a method to track the effectiveness of such campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Financial Development to support donor engagement, direct mail campaigns, appeals, and event promotions.
  • Lead media relations and serve as the primary contact for press inquiries, interviews, and news coverage.
  • Serve as brand steward-ensuring consistent messaging, voice, and visual identity across all platforms and communications.
  • Manager other team members within marketing team to support the full organization.
  • Manage and produce compelling digital and print content, including social media, email newsletters, web content, print collateral, and annual reports.
  • Project manages all departmental requests for collateral and promotes efforts across the organization.
  • Engages community by networking and cultivating relationships that develop into long-term partnerships for NewView.
  • Manage and maintain NewView's digital presence through social media updates, website updates and digital communications via email and SMS.
  • Manage all vendors including but not limited to graphic designers, advertising partners, public relations partners, printers, and other vendors as needed.
  • Facilitate the creation of content as needed to support in the development of proposals, public relations efforts and public policy reform.
  • Create and implement systems for collecting customer, donor, and volunteer information for the purpose of facilitating ongoing communications, marketing future efforts, and supporting event registration management.
  • Support in the execution of company events and mission centered efforts with the creation of collateral, presentations, and the documenting of events for marketing purposes.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.


Qualifications

Qualifications (Minimum education, experience, training, licensure, certification):



  • Requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, Public Relations, or another related field.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years' experience working in marketing or communications; nonprofit experience strongly preferred.
  • Requires experience with Office Suite.
  • Prefer experience creating and working with SEO strategy and working closely with fund raising, nonprofit, and sales organizations.
  • Prefer experience working with Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Canva.
  • Must possess and demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels within the organization comfortably.
  • Skilled in content creation and strategy, with ability to craft integrated marketing content across all channels and touch points, including website, print communications, online communications, and direct mail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities at one time - accurately forecasting and delivering deliverables on time.

Overall physical requirements of the job:
