We are looking for an experienced Rapid Response Team Lead to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of high-priority IT projects within a Department of Defense (DoD) environment. This position requires a proactive and skilled leader capable of managing cross-functional teams, responding quickly to emerging requirements, and maintaining project alignment with strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a rapid response team to address critical IT project requirements in a dynamic DoD environment.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and scope while ensuring alignment with mission priorities.
- Monitor and control project budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Provide clear direction and leadership to project team members, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, delivering status updates and performance metrics.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project continuity and quality.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Citizenship and Clearance:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Must have and maintain a current DoD TS/SCI clearance.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer sciences, business management, or related field (required).
- Experience:
- 3+ years as a Lead Project Manager.
- 3+ years in DoD IT environment.
- Certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Skills:
- Proven self-management and team leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and control project budgets.
- Strong communication skills, with experience interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- High adaptability in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- May require ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
