Position Title: Industrial Blaster
Wage: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Industrial Blaster position available at a company in Burlington, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Industrial Blaster Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Monitors blasting equipment for jams, malfunctions, breakdowns, or stoppages. - Regulate controls on equipment for manual or automatic operations of cycle length, sequence, and timing of various operations. - Operate lifting and moving devices to move materials and equipment to access areas to be painted. - Rack work pieces on skids, inspect, mark, and transfer finished products to staging / shipping areas. - Maintain records of inventory of supplies on hand. - Initiate and maintain good housekeeping practices in all work areas, including cleanliness of blast building, equipment, and replacement of screens and filters. - Complies with all company safety policies and procedures and practices safe work habits. - Other duties as assigned by management. Industrial Blaster Requirements: - Previous experience operating blasting equipment preferred. - Previous experience operating material handling equipment. - Acute attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgement. - Excellent time management and organizational skills. - Ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines, work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. - Ability to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events. - Ability to work in a team environment with multiple departments and diverse personalities - High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others. - Agree to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company. - Successfully pass QPS and company screening process. racine@qpsemployment.com IND012 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
