Job Summary:

Provide exceptional customer service while facilitating the sale of chips to guests in a courteous and efficient manner. Responsible for accurately handling transactions and maintaining the security and balance of the assigned chip bank and cart throughout the shift. Responsible for supporting the Companies mission, vision, and values by providing fun and games like no place else.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Leads by example
  • Responsible for maintaining a high degree of hospitality, as well as a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Creates high levels of morale, fosters teamwork, and inspires collaboration.
  • Handle requests from players for different chip denominations and deliver chips to players at the gaming tables.
  • Responsible for keeping track of the chip inventory and ensuring accuracy.
  • Perform table fills as needed to maintain proper chip inventory.
  • Deliver set-ups to tables as directed by supervisors.
  • Maintain Master Table Logs (MTL) and communicate relevant information to shift management.
  • Count and balance the chip bank and cart at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications:



  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to pass Canterbury Park's pre-employment screening which includes a criminal background check and verification of work history
  • Must be able to attain a Minnesota Racing Commission (MRC) license
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable, trustworthy and pleasant personality


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Prior money handling experience preferred
