Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director to join our exciting team and manage the overall success of the Chicago Innovation Center. Reporting directly to the VP of AMER SIC, this pivotal role will be instrumental in driving executive engagements in the region. The engagements we produce foster a strategic partnership with sales, product leaders, and our executives to drive and accelerate pipeline while delivering impactful customer experiences at our Innovation Center in Chicago.

The ideal candidate will possess deep B2B marketing expertise, a proven track record of driving pipeline and executive engagements, collaborating effectively with cross- functional counterparts, Sales, Real Estate, IT and product marketing. This individual will be responsible for partnering with various internal and external teams to ensure the success and growth of the program. The Director will lead the Chicago-based team involved with day-to-day briefings and drive the overall program strategy. This position requires strong analytical, organizational and coordination skills and the ability to communicate and work with executive management, sales leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure the success of the program in this dynamic & fast-paced environment. You will have experience in building scalable programs and demonstrate the ability to drive cross-functional alignment.

Responsibilities:

Lead the success of the customer engagements at our Chicago Innovation Center:

  • Manage all Chicago-based SIC team members and oversee their delivery on customer engagements

  • Serve as escalation point, or added level of support, throughout the life cycle of a SIC when appropriate

  • Partner with Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS), IT and multiple external teams to create and maintain the Chicago SIC space

  • Ensure the Chicago Innovation Centers hits or exceed all success metrics

  • Content Development: Collaborate with various cross functional teams to create and refine briefing content, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.

  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the briefing program and develop new processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Strategic Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Serve as a key strategic partner contributing to overall program strategy, thought leadership, and planning.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.

  • Partner with sales leaders to develop engagements that fuel pipeline and close deals

  • Architect the end-to-end customer engagement, including curating strategic discussions, positioning appropriate solutions, and determining the optimum flow of the day

  • Work closely with Account Teams to gain an understanding of Customer and Sales objectives

  • Translate our marketing & industry focused initiatives into actionable engagements to help drive growth.

  • Partner with thought leaders and executives on product positioning and strategy for briefings

  • Maintain and grow a strong marketing team culture and morale. Develop the team through a deliberate approach to career and performance management. Emphasis on diversity and inclusion.

  • Experienced - A proven field marketing leader with 10+ years experience.

  • Business acumen - Ability to drive impact based on a deep understanding of market trends, business priorities, and our Corporate strategy. Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate through ambiguity to identify key objectives in order to effectively manage a highly matrixed program.

  • Great Communicator -Exemplary communication skills and the ability to present to executive leaders, cross-functional partners, and customers.

  • Amazing Leader - Proven leadership skills, developing and nurturing teams, talent and skills to innovate and continuously learn and improve.

  • Ability to be onsite at the Chicago SIC up to 4-5 days a week

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with the Salesforce products and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms

  • Ability to understand what matters most to sellers and go-to-market teams and to align strategies and tactics to those priorities

  • Proven experience designing and delivering executive engagements

  • Familiarity with Salesforce corporate strategy and business development lifecycle

  • Executive briefing program experience a plus

For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600.
