Job Overview

A skilled PC Assembler is responsible for handling three sizes of concrete containers (small, medium, and large), attaching hardware to these containers according to customer specifications, and preparing them for shipping. This role requires regular lifting of 35 pounds without assistance and the use of a hoist for heavier items.

A Day In The Life

  • Container Handling:Move containers from molding to assembly areas using a hoist for positioning various-sized concrete containers.
  • Hardware Attachment:Attach metal parts using rivets, nuts, and bolts. Drill holes for hardware like hinges and fasteners.
  • Assembly Completion:Secure hardware using riveting tools to finalize container assembly.
  • Preparation for Shipping:Use banding materials to secure containers and ensure they are correctly labeled with order details.
  • Quality Inspection:Perform detailed inspections before and after hardware installation to confirm quality and specification compliance.
  • Tool Usage:Operate various power and hand tools to complete orders.
  • Physical Requirements:Requires standing for long periods and regular lifting as specified.
