Job Description
Position Summary: Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Representative will manage a defined sales territory and own the development process of conversion of prospects to active customers. Will participate and manage company initiative projects. This is a remote position preferably located in the western time zone (or willing to work western time zone hours). Areas of Responsibility
  • Manage the inside sales territory in the western time zone for accounts located in CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OK, OR, UT, WA, WY. Manage complete sales cycle with the purpose of growing and qualifying accounts for sales representatives. This includes discretion on quoting prices, manage leads and generating opportunities.
  • Participate on external sales calls as needed and provide primary back up for the technical sales representatives.
  • Assist leadership team with time sensitive customer requests.
  • Maintain all customer correspondence in Microsoft D365 CRM. Enter sample, literature and price quote requests.
  • Participate in sales meetings, company meetings and ongoing training exercises.

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (chemistry or sciences preferred) from an accredited four-year college/university
  • 2 or more years industry or sales experience
  • MS Office, Microsoft D365 CRM, Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member
  • High moral and business ethics
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers.
