(MTSI) is seeking a Senior Propulsion Maintenance Tech Expert in Dayton, OH, to support a high-visibility program office at Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. The scope of this A&AS support contract is to provide a broad range of professional services to help the execute effective and responsive integrated program management of research, development, test, evaluation, production, modernization, lifecycle acquisition, and sustainment activities. Responsibilities
As a Senior Propulsion Maintenance Technical Expert with MTSI you will provide support to a high-visibility program office at Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. This position is on-base at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. You will be expected to apply your life cycle logistics support, knowledge, and experience to organize and manage resources and personnel needed to efficiently and effectively accomplish USAF and AFLCMC program office logistics objectives consistent with DoD 5000.02 and USAF logistics and technical data policies and procedures. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: * Support all aspects of weapon system development, production, and fielding related to the DoD's integrated Product Support Elements PSEs: o Life Cycle Sustainment Management to include Product Support Management, Supply Support, Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation, and Maintenance Planning and Management o Technical Management to include Design Interface, Sustaining Engineering, Technical Data, and Computer Resources o Infrastructure Management to include Facilities and Infrastructure, Manpower and Personnel, and Training and Training Support * Support development, review, and coordination of logistics support documentation including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Orders (TOs), Training Coursework and Manuals, and technical data products. * Support the Depot Source of Repair process, the TO Data Conference, technical data reviews, and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) tasks * Support review and coordination of Subcontractor Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) analyses and recommendations
Qualifications
Qualifications * TS/SCI * Minimum of 10 years of relevant logistics DoD experience * Minimum of 10 years of experience maintaining aircraft propulsion systems in a flight-line environment * At least four (4) years of DoD SAP and/or SCI experience * Experience working in, or with, propulsion systems back shops at operating bases and/or sustainment centers * Experience using USAF technical orders and propulsion systems tools, testers, and facilities, and the USAF maintenance and supply systems, forms, and documentation * Experience maintaining deployed aircraft * Experience with the USAF's Joint R&M Evaluation Team process * Understand and be able to support the USAF's MOB stand-up process.
