As the Pathology Network Technical Lead you will be a key Operations, Operations Quality, Business and Development interface for Post Market Quality topics, working closely with all functions and enabling customer centricity by managing and monitoring complaint cases in the community you serve.

You will help to address challenging and strategic issues that have an impact on the network, functions, or chapters by supporting or leading cross-functional, overarching initiatives. You will be the leading technical expert providing guidance on process and key initiatives using your profound technical and quality knowledge. You will work closely with other leaders and teams to collaborate across Networks and Chapters to deliver comprehensive and successful customer solutions. In this role, you serve as a strong, visionary and catalyst leader, who is ready to collaborate with other functions to deliver high quality products to customers and patients, ensures our right to operate and helps us create value through leveraging analytics, process excellence and continued improvement efforts.

The Opportunity

  • You monitor and handle complaint cases in the community you serve.

  • You perform continuous analysis to monitor and assess product quality in the marketplace against available data, including preparing and presenting the necessary statistics / trend analysis, problem descriptions and presentations for this purpose to inform or escalate critical product issues in the marketplace to the appropriate BA/Life Cycle Team committees and to initiate proactive actions.

  • You role model behaviors to support the organization's transition to new, more agile ways of working and adoption.

  • You solve technical challenges and strategic challenges, with innovative, conceptual thinking and action, contributing to PMQ's strategy.

  • You support the Post Market Quality organization with a customer and patient centric mindset, support Network Leads & ensure alignment with Sub-Chapter Leads. This includes supporting and defining the Network's key objectives/ KPIs/ OKRs and ensuring alignment thereof with the organization's business strategy.

  • You break down silos and improve working effectiveness as an 'integrator' across the organization as needed; in particular through collaboration with Operations, Development, other Networks Leaders, Chapters and stakeholders (LCT, PCQTs) to resolve escalated bottlenecks and dependencies, as well as rebalance work & help in line with greater strategic priorities.

  • You decide if Squads within the network are needed; lead and moderate Squads.

  • You manage technical decision making for your respective area - having a facilitator role to ensure the team takes a decision. You negotiate with Senior Leadership across the organization to influence decision-making. You build a culture of continuous improvement and model lean leadership principles.

  • You interface for escalated issues, and may act as a proxy for the Network Lead. This includes representing the Network in audits and inspections by ensuring we are compliant and conform to established quality processes, standards, and regulations.

  • You serve as a coach for colleagues with less experience and help them to develop their skills/expertise.

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor's / Master degree in Life Science, Pharmacy or related subject. An advanced degree is considered an advantage.

  • You have demonstrated experience and knowledge of Quality systems and processes.

  • You have at least 7 years in the Medical Device/Pharma/Biopharmaceutical industry with 5 years working in Quality and Regulatory, preferred or equivalent experience.

Locations:

You are based in Tucson.

Relocation benefits are available for this position.

As this position is part of a global organization, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson is $95,000 and $200,000.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
