JOB SUMMARY: Manages fulfillment operations, ensuring that order fulfillment is efficient, cost-effective, and meets contractual, Cubic, and other relevant standards. The supervisor will act as a liaison between the client and Cubic staff regarding fulfillment issues. This position works under limited supervision and allows for significant decision-making authority.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the day-to-day fulfillment operations, including ensuring achievement of applicable KPIs, quality, and financial goals; managing, projecting, and controlling inventory; reporting departmental activities and volumes; and addressing escalated client issues.
  • Ensure all order fulfillment and related processes and procedures are performed within Cubic's and other applicable security and operations standards and guidelines.
  • Supervise Cubic's fulfillment and other assigned staff, including hiring, writing, and administering. disciplinary actions, implementing work assignments, performance monitoring, and all other aspects of staff management.
  • Manage the fulfillment facility, including safety and security, maintenance, and the acquisition of required resources to ensure the operation runs efficiently and effectively.
  • Function as a primary service contact for client staff for all daily fulfillment-related issues.
  • Ensure the terms of the assigned contract are met as they relate to fulfillment.
  • Regularly interacts with the project service manager to address client issues.
  • Assist with forecasting card issuance needs for patrons, operators, and retail locations.
  • Set up, manage, or assist in the management of non-Cubic facilities where inventory is housed for distribution.
  • Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
  • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
  • Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers.
  • Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production.
  • Deploy the Fulfillment portion of new operations outside of the assigned project as requested
  • Manage a customer-focused team that understands customer needs, provides complete and accurate information, solves customer problems, and processes transactions in a professional and timely manner, to agreed standards.
  • Manage the team such that all required KPIs are achieved and sustained in accordance with Cubic's contractual obligations.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Comply with Cubic's Quality Management System.
  • Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures.
  • Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures.
  • Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of relevant organizations.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience. Logistics, product fulfillment, inventory control experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success supervising professional and/or skilled support teams.
  • Familiarity with cost control measures and ability to interpret data for informed decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Capacity to analyze routine operational challenges and provide workable solutions.

Cubic Pay Range:

$30.56 - $42.02 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
