What You'll Do Position(s) Descriptions RTI seeks International and National Technical Experts for the upcoming ADB-funded Solomon Islands: Senior Secondary Education Improvement Project. The Curriculum Development Consultants will support a transformative initiative to improve the secondary curriculum across the Solomon Islands. This assignment is a key component of a broader effort to enhance the quality, relevance, and climate resilience of education nationwide. The redesigned curriculum will follow two main pathways-STEM and Arts and Social Sciences-each integrating core and elective subjects aligned with the Senior Secondary Curriculum Framework and the Solomon Islands Capabilities. These capabilities emphasize cross-cutting themes including climate resilience, gender and disability inclusion, peace and unity, and readiness for higher education and 21st-century careers. The curriculum will focus on building practical skills to close existing gaps in adaptive livelihoods and promote career opportunities in emerging blue and green industries.
