Overview:

Conde Nast is seeking a Senior Creative Producer to join our dynamic, fast-paced creative team. In this role the Senior Creative Producer will work closely with our Director of Content, Associate Producer and Global Executive Director on all video productions.

The Senior Creative Producer has a strong history of creating and executing high concept social and long form digital videos on location as well as in studio, has a voracious interest in digital video and a deep understanding of how to produce and direct on-camera talent for various platforms (YouTube and social).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leading production across multiple international shoots at a time - including but not limited to scouting locations, vetting talent, vetting and securing film crew in various locations across the US and internationally, occasionally in remote locations.

  • Concepting social original content, filming content on iPhone, and editing for social.

  • Reviewing, editing, and approving preliminary and final treatments, outlines, shooting scripts, scripts, casting, production schedules, budgets, and final versions of all assigned programs, with supervision from the Director of Content or Executive Director.

  • Managing the post production process, including collecting all creative notes through the process, and ensuring deadlines are being met. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: schedules, paper-cuts, hand-off emails, footage selects, graphics, music, rough cuts, fine cuts, final narration and final versions, with supervision from the Director of Content Production / Supervising Producer or Executive Director.

  • Working closely with the Executive Director and Director of Content to develop and pitch built if bought editorial, sponsored editorial and branded video concepts for advertising and streaming client partnerships around tentpole moments and cultural IP for the brand.

Required Skills:

  • This individual will need at least 5+ years of experience directing and producing shoots on location.

  • International shoot experience is a must.

  • Must have experience developing and producing branded and sponsored editorial content (both longform and social), in addition to strictly editorial content.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time while working under tight deadlines with limited resources.

  • The individual has experience interacting and managing a-list talent and their reps with professionalism and discretion, as a face of the brand.

  • This individual is a strong researcher.

  • Knowledge of internet culture and digital video landscapes (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat), understanding the unique elements of each video platform and what makes particular videos successful on those platforms.

  • Proven ability to operate, balance long-term value with near-term business goals, manage heavy workload, and prioritise appropriately.

  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally if needed.

  • Must exhibit strong written and verbal skills.

  • Must be a master communicator and always a solution-oriented person in the room.

This is a guild position.

The expected base salary range for this position is from $95,000-$105,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.

In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
