Vomela Commercial in Springfield, VA is seeking a PrePress Technician to join our dynamic commercial printing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on comprehensive graphic solutions for Fortune 500 companies while honing your expertise in traditional desktop workflows, variable data processing, digital storefront creation, and campaign management using Mind Fire and PageFlex.

Key Responsibilities

• Preflight and troubleshoot files to ensure they are print-ready (checking fonts, resolution, file size, mode, etc.).
• Work in a manufacturing production environment with complex layouts.
• Apply color theory expertise with a strong eye for precision.
• Profile files to match the specifications of each press or output device.
• Design and layout projects based on customer requests.
• Create and maintain online storefronts and variable data campaigns.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Prinergy or similar prepress software.
• Strong file troubleshooting and variable data processing skills.
• Familiarity with Printable, PageFlex, and Pressero for storefront management.
• Experience working with PC and Mac operating systems.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a focus on speed and quality.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with sales, client service, and production teams.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and applications.
