Job Description Job Title: IT Operations Inventory Administrator Reports To: IT Manager
Job Summary: Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Operations Administrator is responsible for optimizing and coordinating IT operations within the organization. This role involves overseeing inventory control, problem-solving, quality control, and ensuring efficient communication both internally and externally. The IT Operations Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining a seamless workflow within the IT department. General Job Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and enforce adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures within the IT department. Monitor, manage, and optimize IT inventory, including hardware, software, and related assets. Maintain accurate records and work to prevent overstock or shortages. Act as a point of contact for end-user support, ensuring devices are prepared and maintained. Support and collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth operations. Review work for quality and accuracy, ensuring that IT solutions and services meet the organization's standards. Support various hardware, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, and network equipment. Undertake any additional responsibilities as assigned. Physical and Mental Requirements: Must maintain a self-motivated and positive professional approach. Adaptability to changes in the work environment. Promote the company culture and mission to all stakeholders. Act as a liaison for company interactions with customer representatives. Possess strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities. Excellent written, oral communication, and customer service skills. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work both independently and within a team. Flexibility in handling assignments with acute attention to detail. Capable of lifting and moving IT equipment. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalency is a minimum requirement. Familiarity with IT systems, tools, and industry best practices. Positive attitude and proactive work ethic Understanding of networking operating systems, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and remote communications Strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently. Proven experience in IT operations, inventory management, and problem-solving Meet the minimum driving standards set by the company. ITILv4 Certification (preferred) Min USD $18.00/Hr.
