Our company's measurable growth is in no small part due to our team members in North Carolina, Arkansas, Illinois, and Missouri, who each have a seat at the table to contribute to our success Job Summary Receive, store, issue materials, equipment and other items for the successful operation of employee supplies and product inventory. Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities v Packs and unpacks items to be stored in an accessible manner on shelves in the supply room v Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage timely v Receives, counts stock items, and record data v Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigates discrepancies or adjusts errors v Issues or distributes materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers in a timely manner v Cleans and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations v Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities Knowledge, Skills & Abilities v Ability to operate a forklift for moving stock, and unloading freight from delivery trucks v Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service v Strong organizational and interpersonal skills v Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work v Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to details, and maintain a positive attitude v Ability to work cross-functionally and within a team-based environment v Ability to determine appropriate course of action in a more complex situation v Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing v Strong computer skills including MS Office v Working knowledge of AS400 and inventory management systems helpful v Knowledge of SAP preferred v Knowledge of InnovaZone scanning processes or Electronic Inventory Systems preferred v Bilingual a plus Education & Experience v Experience in inventory systems or other technically intense, high0throughput, quality-sensitive business environments preferred v Experience with the use of InnovaZone Scanning Processes preferred v Experience in poultry, meat food manufacturing, helpful We embrace equal opportunity employment.
