We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jasper Reports, BY Warehouse Management (Discrete) PL/SQL and Unix. Experience in Inventory Management and Warehouse Management Systems for Retail is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of functional architecture solutions for warehouse management systems.
  • Oversee the integration of Jasper Reports into existing systems to enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Provide technical expertise in BY Warehouse Management (Discrete) to optimize warehouse operations.
  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts to support database management and data analysis.
  • Utilize Unix skills to manage and troubleshoot system operations effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new functionalities.
  • Conduct regular system audits to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in warehouse management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Support the development and implementation of inventory management strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize warehouse management processes.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in Jasper Reports BY Warehouse Management (Discrete) PL/SQL and Unix.
  • Experience in Inventory Management and Warehouse Management Systems for Retail is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Hold a relevant certification in warehouse management or related field.
  • Show proficiency in database management and data analysis.
  • Display a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system issues.
