OVERVIEW

Merrick is actively seeking a Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) to support our growing Human Resources team. Merrick has had steady growth over the last several years and we are strategically expanding our HR department to support 1000+ employees across the United States and internationally! This position is in our headquarters in Greenwood Village, CO.

Pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00 per hour. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

As our HR Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting HR projects, policies, programs, and procedures. Your responsibilities will include orientation and onboarding processes, HRIS data management, document management, post-hire compliance testing, and general administrative support to the HR operations team.

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

  • Conduct weekly new hire orientation and onboarding for all Merrick locations.
  • Maintain and update employee lifecycle processes within our HRIS including onboarding documentation, HRIS data entry and electronic employee file management.
  • Deliver high quality support to staff as a first point of contact with HR Operations.
  • Monitor employment compliance items such as employment law posters, I-9/Clear Verify, and electronic employee files.
  • Assign required training for employees through our HRIS learning platform.
  • Administer client directed background checkand drug screening programs for current employees.
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of HR administration experience including onboarding and orientation.
  • Proficient in using HR tools including HRIS systems, SharePoint, MS Office Suite, etc. Experience using UKG is highly preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding employee information as an HR professional.
  • Exceptional attention-to-detail with a focus on delivering quality while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative spirit to work on creative solutions with the HR Team.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with all departments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Adept at establishing effective relationships with customers (internal and external) and maintaining their trust and respect.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred.
  • Local candidates preferred.
