PCI is seeking a motivated, team-oriented, and driven experienced Safety Supervisor for its PCI Portland 553 operations based in Hillsboro, OR. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:



  • Promote safety, safe work practices, and behaviors to instill an injury-free culture throughout all branch and field personnel.
  • Assist the branch with implementing and administering PCG and client accident prevention plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure that the company and client safety reports, statistics, and documentation are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Provide safety technical expertise and support to the branch.
  • Provide safety resources, including employee training.
  • Assist in the investigation of work-related injuries, illnesses, and near-miss incidents.
  • Enforce corrective action to prevent the recurrence of hazardous conditions or behaviors.
  • Practice timely and accurate accident reporting.
  • Review all accidents and investigation reports.
  • Act as liaison between the company and client as it relates to site safety management.
  • Assist in identifying, correcting, and mitigating routine and non-routine safety and health hazards.
  • Council and coach workers to gain compliance with the accident prevention plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide safety resources for workers.
  • Identify, anticipate, and evaluate potential safety and health hazards.
  • Conduct job site inspections and periodic audits to establish and evaluate the level of compliance.
  • Establish branch and project safety goals.
  • Evaluate and approve safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to other safety team members



Basic Requirements



  • Minimum 10 years of construction safety management.
  • Minimum 5 years experience on semiconductor campuses
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Construction Science or related field, or 5 years comparable work experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • A clear understanding of OSHA construction requirements
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
  • Superb customer service skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit



Preferred Requirements



  • Experience with leading a team
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of scaffold systems and clean room protocols within semiconductor facilities.
  • OSHA 500 or 510


This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Salary: $80-120k
