Requisition ID req33328 Working Title Administrative Assistant 3 Position Grade 08 Position Summary The Clinical Law Program at the UNM School of Law is a law firm where advanced law students represent real-world clients under the guidance and supervision of School of Law faculty. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant with strong organization and communication skills to join our law firm's admin support team. The ability to communicate in conversational Spanish is highly preferred. This position will have shared responsibilities that support essential office operations and will provide direct support to multiple law practice areas. The support duties will include, but are not limited to: * Answering phones, greeting clients and maintaining a welcoming front desk environment * Composing thorough and accurate written communications * Scheduling and maintaining conference rooms for client meetings * Following established opening/closing procedures for the office * Records management of confidential client files, both physical and digital * Assisting clinical law students with office procedures and protocols The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks, demonstrate professionalism and work efficiently in a structured, fast-paced legal and academic environment. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. Preferred Qualifications * Front desk experience in an office or educational environment * Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish * Experience with records management or database programs * Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization * Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 * Experience maintaining confidentiality Additional Requirements Campus Main - Albuquerque, NM Department School of Law (588A) Employment Type Staff Staff Type Regular - Full-Time Term End Date Status Non-Exempt Pay Hourly: $18.09 - $23.27 Benefits Eligible This is a benefits eligible position.
