This position is 100% in office. The employee will work full time in an office in a designated WesBanco location. Consideration for location will be at the Bowie Banking Center.

Job Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for working closely with Retail Corporate, Market, or District leadership by supporting various needs of the Retail Banking Center teams, along with learning the duties involved in fulfilling leadership responsibilities and performing some of these duties to allow the leadership to execute higher priority responsibilities. Responsibilities include supporting a variety of complex administrative and support functions, such as providing support of all Retail strategies to achieve set performance targets and objectives. Supports leadership to ensure service and operational standards are achieved and recognition of the individual results and achievements of all associates occurs on a regular basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

Banking is a highly regulated industry, and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supports the successful achievement of Retail business plan initiatives, such as acquiring or onboarding new deposit and lending relationships, growing digital adoption, revenue and fee generation, operational compliance, and new account production. (Note: Initiatives will change as business needs change.)

Supports Retail reporting analytics, assessing, and compiling data from all available Bank systems or other available performance reporting.

Makes recommendations to recognize and reward teams when goals or objectives are being met.

Maintains understanding of Retail products and services. Proficiency with current and/or ongoing Retail banking campaigns and specific account offerings is expected.

Provides daily support to Retail Corporate, Market, or District leadership and team members along with maintaining confidentiality.

Supports successful adoption of the Pledge First Service Program. Monitors service feedback using customer feedback received from surveys. Shares feedback with District Managers for further action or follow up.

Supports Market Leadership to ensure all reporting deadlines are met and processed in a timely manner, including expense reports, invoices, and philanthropic or marketing budget related requests.

Supports Market Leadership to execute the market's Community Development action plans.

Coordinates with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) services for the market, ensuring all completed services meet the required qualifications.

Assists in coordinating effective customer entertainment events or community service opportunities in the market to promote brand awareness and customer or prospect relationship building.

Coordinates meetings, events, or various functions within the market. May prepare agendas as needed.

Works on special projects as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The wage range for the Administrative Assistant position is $20.00-$23.00 an hour and is eligible for approved overtime. The position includes 17 days of PTO (Paid Time Off) and 5 days of STD (Short Term Disability), 11 annual paid holidays, and 1 annual float holiday.
