This Technical Manager will be the Baker Hughes Service Engineering Lead for a customer site based Guyana on a monthly rotational basis. The primary responsibilities will be managing process and technologies, specifically gas turbine, centrifugal compressors, and steam turbines, and HV electrical equipment for customer projects.

As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Guyana customer's installed base of gas turbines and compressors including activities such as customer issue resolution, product bulletin implementation, monitoring and diagnostics, and fleet management.
  • Conducting Outage Management: support customer outage planning and preparation and fast issue resolution during outage execution
  • Leading the technical communication for technical investigations/ RCA, collaborate with global experts to optimize customer equipment Reliability and Availability, and manage critical KPIs.
  • Presenting projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams
  • Communicating solutions across the own function and with cross-functional partner organizations

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor degree in Engineering or 10+ yrs of professional experience
  • Have 5+yrs of experience with project or contract performance management
  • Have design engineering, repair development, and/or field service of rotary machines including gas turbines
  • Have impressive interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others and lead small teams and coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Possess effective problem identification and solution skills, as well as analytical and organizational ability
  • Able to work at a customer facility in Guyana on a rotational basis

  • Working rotational schedule of approx 1 month onsite in Guyana office location - and then 1 month work from home office
