Director of RCM Strategy & Innovation - Lafayette Hill, PA

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. In lieu of degree 15 - 20 years of revenue cycle mgt. experience.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with a focus on behavioral health services and commercial insurance billing.
• Proven experience in strategic planning, process optimization, and team leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of behavioral health billing, coding, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial insurance).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with healthcare information systems and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in revenue cycle management (e.g., Certified Revenue Cycle Executive - CRCE).
• Strong working knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts & processes.
• Physical Health billing is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of behavioral health-specific revenue cycle software and tools.
• Experience in payer relations and contract negotiations.
• Understanding value-based care models and how they apply to behavioral health services.

Position Details:

This position is a senior leadership role (Director Level reporting in to the Corp. Sr. Director of Business Operations) responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of strategic initiatives related to the revenue cycle and all new business initiatives within Merakey. This position will ensure that all services are efficiently integrated into the organization's financial processes, contributing to the overall success of the revenue cycle by driving operational excellence, improving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
